What is a Digipak?
Digipak is a patented style of CD, DVD Packaging. It has become popular by holding CD and DVD's from the same artist, combining the release of a new CD with a DVD.Digipak typically consists of a book-style paper board or card outer binding
with one or more plastic trays capable of holding a CD or DVD attached to the inside.It usually consists of 4-6 frames and sometimes some may contain free offers like music downloads or vouchers.
What is the purpose of a Digipak?
Digipak packaging is often used for CD singles or special editions of CD albums and tall DVD Digipak is used as a premium package for DVDs and sets.
What to include on a Digipak?
On a digipack you will usually find:
- 4-6 Panels though our aim is 6!
- Spine
- Track list
- Bar code
- Disk impression
- Membership postcard/ flier
- Band information section/ booklet
- Free image/ Postcards or offers.
